#spirituality #selfdevelopment #personalitytransformation Do not quit if these signs appear.
People go to work every day, whether they like it or not, they work. At some point, a person might feel that they definitely want to quit. There are certain reasons and events they rely on. Knowing them, you shouldn’t rush to find a new job and definitely not quit right now, but make some other decisions.
What are these signs? I’ll try to describe them and give some solutions on how to deal with such situations. It’s incredibly important to do this; otherwise, you might notice a cycle in your life: 3, 5, 10, 15, 20 years have passed, and the work situation was very strange, even if there were many jobs. This is especially true for people who often change jobs and for those who have never changed jobs.
Sign #1. This is a sudden change in your attitude towards work: before, you worked and everything was more or less normal (or even great). At some point, you get a very strange feeling that you don’t like this job. This is common for many people and can stem from different reasons. But the important thing is that you have an inner state where the job itself does not satisfy you.
Sign #2. A new boss appeared who you categorically do not like. This person is absolutely not your type.
Sign #3. New colleagues appeared who you do not like, and the team has become such that you cannot be in it. They irritate you at every meeting and when you are in the process of communicating, corresponding with them. You see that colleagues are putting certain pressure on you (usually people start to get irritated by colleagues when there is pressure towards them). There is something you don’t like: they speak badly about you; use your indicators and claim that others did it; show that you didn’t complete some of your own work; promote some person. You don’t like it.
What to do when new colleagues who seriously annoy you appear? Sometimes it happens: a person arrives and it feels like all the company’s attention shifts to them. This starts to put a lot of pressure, even somewhat annoy you: you feel like you’re losing your space. Because this person really shines, you see how the management is happy about them. At the same time, you have a strange feeling that this is a bad person, for example, they deceive the company, bring the wrong opportunities, exaggerate their results, or use someone else’s success, and you generally disagree with what they offer. It’s very important to stop holding this person in your mind. The best thing you can do is to start communicating with them neutrally, professionally, by no means becoming “super friends”, but not avoiding them either. The fact is that such moments happening at work allow us to gain an incredibly big experience in life. The experience that later compensates in our usual environment: it’s better to go through such problems at work with a colleague than in the family, directing irritation at your husband, wife, parents, or children. Live through it calmly.
Sign #4. People in the team start saying that the company is no longer the same: it used to be great, it was good to work here, but something happened and the company changed.
These four signs are quite significant. Depending on various circumstances, when these four events occur, people start thinking about quitting. This is a mistake. The important state you should be in when these signs appear simultaneously or just one of them is calm observation.
This means that to the bad boss, colleagues, oppression at work, dishonest treatment, or the feeling that something happened in the company that doesn’t align with your values, you should approach it with the following understanding: your life is your life, anything can happen in the company. Try to observe from the side why you consider some things good and others bad, some things happening in the company great or not at all. Give yourself the time to live through this state of observation for two, three, four months. It leads to incredibly important results.
The first thing you get (this is the most important) is the expansion of your perception regarding the situation and allowing life to go on. Someone might say that I’m talking about some strange things that don’t match reality: in life, we need to make specific decisions, it should be interesting, it should have a great income, work should professionally develop you. ****But at the same time, allow yourself to live a few months with a completely different attitude and state at work; an attitude where you are not just working daily like a hamster on a wheel, but when you have entered a state of broad perception and understanding of what’s happening. Try to see why such circumstances started happening in your life.
Why can’t you quit?
Most people quit out of their own fear, ego, the desire to escape the problem at this moment. Escaping the problem means not being with it every evening when there is a problem today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow. You know it’s there, and you live with this problem for 3-4 months. But you want it to disappear. The easiest thing you can do is to quit: no problematic boss, team, workplace that bothers you. Even if you were offered a new job - you can’t quit if such circumstances arose. Allow yourself to live and stay inside, look a bit from the side, what’s happening.
Often, when it seems that something bad is happening around us, it’s just that some new state has turned on inside us. And the reason may not be related to work - with relationships at home, with friends, with the space around. Often it seems that the new boss is bad. We may simply not perceive him, not fully understand his goals, the most important thing is that this person might have left the company and been replaced. Often it seems that new colleagues are not right. A huge number of people try to survive in modern times at the expense of others. Give it time. These people always burn out and move on. I am now talking about an adequate perception. Often it seems when people around say: “The company is sinking!” - you need to run with everyone, so as not to be left alone in the end. Look at a huge number of companies. I know a lot of companies where employees for 10-15 years said every year that the company is no longer the same.
But if you live in a world where you want to scale, develop, and change, then you can be in a place that also changes. If the company is not the same, then it will not be “the same” every day: a company, team, environment that scales and develops is definitely not the same. Be careful about quitting.
