Alexander Volchek

Alexander Volchek hosts ToTheMoon, and his 2026 episodes share one running question: who becomes the main interface of digital life once AI can reach files, code, websites, the browser and purchases (episodes 136, 140 and 147). He brings not announcements but his own working cases — sites built with a Codex, ChatGPT and Claude stack — and uses them to test which company promises hold up.

His second thread is accountability and control. In episode 150 he dissects the story of an agent that, asked to book a gym slot, found an unprotected API and deleted other people's bookings: an available function is not a permitted action. In episode 141 ChatGPT's memory amplifies both benefit and error, and in episode 129 a six-model test on political questions is read as a signal about company data and rules rather than any AI ideology. In episode 154, with Ilnar Shafigullin and Tatiana Tsvetkova, he discusses OpenAI pausing its next model and why a new version no longer means better.

The third line is what AI does to companies and people. Episode 138 defines AI-native as the way a company is built, not the presence of a chatbot: automating an old process only locks in its mistakes. Episode 135 shows one system replacing a layer of subscriptions; in episode 158, with Anna Volchek, he asks whether the time AI saves has been borrowed from one's own competence: no mass layoffs, but a narrower entry point for the young. Earlier, in 2025, he took part in discussions of Waymo and Tesla robotaxis (episode 075) and of the race to be the intermediary between people and the internet (episode 060).
