Spirituality has become a new form of ego

Spirituality has become a new form of ego

– Can a person mask ego under the pursuit of spiritual development?

– There is no such thing as spiritual development – these are just words that are used. In reality, a person is entirely driven by ego systems.

In modern times, over the last hundred years, the use of the concept of spiritual development has become increasingly masked by ego-structures. In response to the question “can this be the case?”, I can say that most current systems, when transmitting the idea of spiritual development, are ego systems, ego-structures.

Most transmissions are aimed, on the one hand, at manipulating a person, and on the other hand – at giving a person a tool for manipulating other people. This is the power of the systems being transmitted, while the person is offered power in exchange for something: money or some other actions connected with it.

This is a very important aspect. We will look at it in more detail. It is important to understand why this is so, what it is, and what the person should do with it themselves – how to make decisions in such circumstances. If you understand that around you there is an endless multitude of ego-structures, aspirations, goals, systems, then first you need to understand why this happens.

This happens because of what a person understands by spiritual development. If a person understands spiritual development as obtaining personal benefit through certain processes or completing tasks that are labeled as “spiritual”, then what can this lead to?

What can this lead to if a person comes to a session to lay out cards and find out how to earn more money? Or makes a horoscope to find opportunities to improve their life? Or comes to a “seer” in order to change another person’s perception and gain power over them – to change their attitude toward themselves? Or comes to increase their wealth?

Does anyone understand what is happening in this case? If you suddenly increase your own wealth, then what happens on the other side? If something increases in one point, does it decrease somewhere else? Do others lose something at that moment or not? This is a question you should ask yourself. It applies not only to money, but also to joy, pleasure, emotional stability, calmness, and benefits.

If you increase the volume of your benefits, change their structure, do they decrease somewhere else or not?

People want to change their karma, but they want to do it in such a way that everything immediately becomes good for them. To “work through” something – and immediately everything becomes good. Without performing actions aimed at what is recognized as truth, or at least actions that could give results not only in this life but also in future ones. They want to change something right now so that everything becomes good immediately. But if you modify karma, events, and cause-and-effect relationships, then obviously you are changing them not only for yourself.

Any change concerning your life affects a huge number of other lives. No matter how you describe or interpret it, if you live in an understanding of cause and effect, and not only in the scientific theory “I can only develop my brain” – if you think you can develop yourself only scientifically – then there is no point in talking about spiritual development. But if a person uses this concept, it means they understand the connection between causes and effects between people and events. And then the question arises: by increasing your well-being, what happens to everything else? Does it really increase for everyone? Or not?

We see a huge number of slogans – political, economic, cultural, educational, religious – that say one thing: “Let’s improve the lives of all people around. Let’s make everyone’s life good.”

At the same time, the people who transmit this often do not understand basic things. For example, why there was a time when there was one billion people on Earth, then two, and now eight. They do not know how many people there will be in 10 years. Yes, some scientific articles are written, something is calculated, but there is no real understanding. And they do not understand why, despite all actions, we do not see the main thing – the growth of people’s well-being.

Of course, different metrics are used: they say people live longer, and they measure life by its duration, calculate average income per person, or assess access to knowledge. And indeed, access to knowledge today has grown incredibly, especially with the emergence of artificial intelligence.

But does this lead to a real improvement in human life? For that, one must first understand what human life is. What does it mean “to live well”?

When a politician, economist, religious figure, or leader says “to live well”, what do they mean by this concept? And what does the person themselves mean by it? Everything else depends on this – how a person perceives spiritual development and what actions they take. What does it mean “to live well”? Today it is fashionable to say: “It means bringing benefit to other people.” But what does “benefit” mean? What exactly is it?

There is a very difficult example to perceive. Imagine: a person is born, and their soul, their spiritual structure, initially implies living through certain events, including early death – for example, at 18 years old. This is part of a plan of the spiritual world, an agreement at a level not of material or social consciousness, but of a deeper system. This spiritual structure understands: “I need to live exactly like this.” For balance, for further movement, for working through karmic structure. But in the material world, the person wants to “fix karma.” They want to improve it without living through what is there.

Have you seen many people who want to actually live their karma? To understand it and live it?

– No.

– Everyone wants to correct it, modernize it, improve it. Even in astrology, people do not come for understanding, but for corrections. And modern astrologers may say: “Don’t wear this, do that, act like this here, buy a dog there, change your behavior here,” and so on.

If in the spiritual structure – and this is not only the soul, it is a whole system: spirit, astral body, etheric, physical, “I” – it is set that a person lives until 18, then is it a good action to help this person live longer?

  • On the one hand – yes, it looks like help.
  • On the other hand – it is relative help. Because the question arises: help in what? Avoiding one’s destiny? Not living necessary events? Changing the structure of life?

The system is arranged so that a person may not live through their tasks and carry them forward. This is possible. And it is good that such a possibility exists. Even if two people come potentially for the realization of the same thing, one may fully live this path, while the other does not even come close. And then they enter a new cycle.

Did you help the person or not? In fact – this is not help. True help is to help a person understand what is happening, accept it, realize it, and then observe, move forward, and live through it.

Different paths and events are possible, in which a person gains movement, their life changes, and they live not 18 years, but for example 14 or 28. That is, the term can both decrease and increase. It is also important to understand another aspect: you can “help” a person in such a way that, while living their karma, they die earlier, not later. They complete their current task faster, and the conditions of their life will not allow them to continue the next ones. They will need to leave in order to move to the next tasks, because in the current space they can no longer realize them. And at this point people usually do not want to go further. Do not want to think, do not want to study.

Therefore, when we talk about what real life is, it is important to understand from which position you look at it. A person says: “Well, still… love.” I ask: how is love connected to life expectancy? How is helping a person connected to how long they live?

But we live in a world that measures everything by indicators. For example, life expectancy. And the fact that a person spent 50 out of 60 years in a state of inner suffering – instability, envy, lies, desire to harm, inner anxiety, and non-acceptance of reality – seems unimportant. The main thing is how many years they lived.

Even if we take the topic of quality of life. A person says: “I want a healthy body, so I will not consume sugar, smoke, or drink alcohol.” And immediately they are given examples: “But my grandmother or neighbor lived to 120 and smoked every day.”

These examples are given without understanding the structure of a specific person. And the very fact of such arguments shows a substitution of meaning. A person says: “I want to be in a stable perception, so I want to consume alcohol.” The point is not life expectancy, but how a person feels in the perception of reality.

Alcohol narrows perception. That is why a person stops feeling what is happening. And what happens the next day after heavy drinking? Their perception partially returns, and they begin to see their condition – and they feel bad. They start to feel what is happening to them within the limits of their available perception.

There are things that cannot be completely “turned off”, for example, perception of one’s physical body. When perception was strongly narrowed, they did not feel it. When it slightly returns – they say: “I feel bad.” And what are they offered? A pill. For what? To narrow perception again.

A huge number of medications are built on narrowing perception. And even if someone says there are drugs that expand perception, it is important to understand: what exactly is expanded, and what is narrowed at the same time? Is perception expanded holistically? Or do some systems expand while others narrow? And if your perception is expanded so that you begin to see what you are not supposed to see – is that good or bad? And after receiving this experience, do you understand the causes and effects of those processes that occurred due to this “expansion”?

Therefore, when we talk about what it means “to truly live”, we must also consider what is included in this concept.

💡

What does it mean to truly live? To truly live – is it to have a long life, a certain amount of money in the account, apartments, or apartments for children, or a certain number of children? Or is to truly live something else?

And to measure one’s professional activity, life achievements, health, family relationships, relationships with wife, husband, children, the family itself, presence or absence of children – not by external parameters like “golden wedding”, “silver”, “platinum”, etc., but by truly real parameters. And what are those parameters?

Measure relationships with your children by how many apartments were bought for them, what education was given, or by other real parameters? Measure your professional achievements by the amount of money in the account or by the number of years worked in one profession? Or, in the modern world, by the number of jobs changed or professions tried? Or still by real, authentic parameters?

– And what are real parameters?

– Measure your life, your emotional state by the number of trips, number of vacations, number of countries visited? Or by real, authentic parameters? If we talk about vacation, what is a real parameter? Is it the exaltation of vacation or treating travel as an ordinary event?

The only truly working position is treating any trip as an ordinary event. It does not matter where you are. It is ordinary life. An ordinary day. You are at home in a closed room, drinking coffee in the kitchen, sitting in Zoom and working from home, working in an office Zoom, or you arrived at a factory and are working, or you went to rest in Bulgaria and are sitting by the sea – even if it is the first time in 10 years, or you went to a dacha. These are only events of your life. And life remains the same. It is +40, +20, or -20 outside – it is all the same life.

When we ask ourselves what real parameters are, one wants to ask: do they even exist? And can this be measured in any way?

It is structured this way: modern people very strongly want to measure everything. Two thousand years ago, humans were not like this. Five thousand years ago – even less so. There was no need to translate everything into comparative parameters. This is a question of human development through millennia and presence in the here and now.

Today there is a strong exaltation of parameterization of everything happening. A very strong tendency to constantly isolate and compare parameters. And then, as is customary in modern education systems, someone will say: “It should be explained simply, as people are used to, as they want to hear.” And then the material should be called: “10 parameters of human spiritual development.” That would be a marketing title with high CTR, high clickability.

💡

When we look at what real life is, it is important that we should not approach how to evaluate life, but the question – what are we doing here. And if we set as the main task the understanding and recognition of life, then no parameters exist in this sense.

I often tell people that the most important point of your focus is understanding and recognizing your life. A person asks: “How do I measure it?” They again want to introduce a parameter. But how can you measure something if you do not know where you are going? Where does this desire come from? A person wants to be “no worse than others.” They are constantly afraid that they are “falling behind somewhere.” And here the question arises: how to find a state of calm so that this question does not arise?

This question will automatically arise in the system because the main task of a person is to know themselves. And since this is the main task, in modern reality the question will arise: “What is my percentage of self-knowledge?”

In order for this question not to arise, one must begin to perceive the world not only from the material side. If a person understands that the world is primarily spiritual, and “secondarily” material, and strives to understand this and sets the task of knowing the world – they will not have the question of what the parameters of knowledge are.

From the perspective of the spiritual world, human development is infinite. When there is no end, you cannot measure any parameter. There is no percentage of infinity in the infinity symbol. Even if you draw it, uncertainty remains. The percentage of infinity is still infinity.

Therefore, a person who lives in understanding or in the desire to understand that the world is spiritual will not want to measure this indicator. It is not needed, it is meaningless. It is an indicator that only grows ego.

The only thing to do is to live in the position: “I want to know my life.” Not make it better, not live longer, but know my life. No one forbids a person to set goals, want children, form a family, have 56 professions, 89 hobbies, visit all countries of the world 16 times each. No one forbids setting goals in earning money. But these goals are just points, not linear, not in 2D or 3D space.

Any reasonable person, understanding that they are going toward knowing their life and studying it, also understands that these goals and points may not always be achieved – they are just points that have no real significance. What matters is the knowledge of one’s life.

Then a person begins the next layer of deception. They say: “Since there is karma, I would like to know my purpose and understand whether I can earn a billion dollars or not.” The person still sets parameters. But this is absurd. If 20 years ago someone had said whether it is possible to earn 100 billion dollars, everyone would have said it is impossible. Maybe only one person would ever achieve it. Now, when we see people with more than 100 billion dollars, people easily set goals in billions, whereas before – no.

If 100 people appear with 10 trillion each, will a new number simply appear and all these values be devalued? And everyone will start saying that hundreds of billions are not that difficult. But what has changed? Why yesterday one thing was said, and tomorrow another?

💡

Therefore, we see that an endless number of people say anything. And there is no need to be offended by this, but calmly understand: a person is in a state where different goals, states, and plans arise in their consciousness. Within life, different states arise.

At 18 they think they do not want family or children, but want to work. At 60 they think: “Why didn’t I spend time with my children?” Or vice versa: suddenly a child appears, and the person understands that work is no longer important, they want to be with the child. Or at some point a person wants to be not a programmer but an artist. Something happens, and there is nothing bad in this.

This is the essence: the task is to study life. And in life, absolutely different events and desires can happen. Today one desire – a person says: “I do not want to live in this country, I want to emigrate.” Tomorrow they emigrate, then return and say: “How happy I am that I returned.” Or vice versa.

Therefore, the essence of life is to observe and track your desires, to study them. Why did I have one desire here and another there? Why did I like some people and now others? To study this, observe it, not turn it into conflict and not manipulate it.

Or a person says: “Now I don’t want anything.” They are told: “You have depression.” Then they say: “Now I want too much.” They are told: “You are scattered, focus.” And they ask: “So what should I do – concentrate or scatter?”

The point is not that. The point is to study it and observe it.

Why in one family relationships with children are good, and in another not? Why does a father have good relationships with one child and the mother not? Why with another child it is the opposite? Why with a third it is good for everyone, and with a fourth bad?

This is life – to study all this without indicators and without goals. And there is incredible joy in this. Even from what I said, you can see that a harmonious state and joy appear. And suddenly indicators become unnecessary. Because indicators are struggle. It is where either there is power over you, or you want to gain power over other people and over the world. Do not do this in life.
