Today, especially in the age of artificial intelligence, people are constantly told that they can master any profession and become anyone they like. But is that really so? How can you tell which activities you have real abilities for, and which direction is only a social illusion?
I look at where genuine development ends and the desire for superiority begins, how the search for yourself turns into feeding the ego, and how attention to other people helps you perceive your own life more broadly.
A world where everyone can be anyone
We are now in a world where everything is far too tangled: a great deal of knowledge, circumstances, information. And that means there will be even more competition. Programmers, marketers, designers won’t disappear — there will be even more of them, because now everyone thinks they can be them. Everyone can be anyone.
We live in a world where everyone can be a mathematician, where everyone says they can be anyone. Nowadays you can’t explain to anyone that a person cannot become that, whatever they say, because people are used to living by the social world. They don’t understand the spiritual world, they don’t understand the essence of what is happening, the essence of causes and effects.
Let’s at least start with why a person was born into this particular family. People act clever because they moved to other countries, landed some job, found a good wife or husband.
They act clever without understanding that all of this is patterns they do not control.
Patterns you control and patterns you don’t
Patterns you control are usually described like this: for this sheet to go up, you have to lift it. And what I am going to talk about during today’s filming is a pattern I don’t control, because I have no written script. That is why it is very easy to tell people who read a text from those who don’t. That doesn’t mean reading is bad.
All I have here are topics I need to cover — twelve topics, with four more questions inside each one. I will never manage to film them all today: I am not going to shoot fifty videos. It is something uncontrolled. And this video is uncontrolled too — that is the point, that is energy.
Can you put energy into a controlled text? In some way, of course, you can. And sometimes information is needed simply as information. For example: “Alexander, what do you see out of the window?” — “I see nine hundred eighty-four trees, twenty houses, hills, the hills beyond San Francisco Bay.” No single video would ever be enough for me to describe what I see.
Being anyone is the desire to be God
The most important thing in this question is not the fact itself that a person can’t be anyone, but what you rely on: on the desire to become anyone, or on the desire to follow value guidelines in your development and your life, to perceive your life and love it as it is.
Is your desire to develop your own personality, to feed the ego-computer, Ahrimanic and Luciferic energies, the energies of dark forces in general, to sustain a severe imbalance, to sow turmoil through an endless desire to become anyone? After all, becoming anyone is superiority. Or do you rely on being a part of life, and on the fact that what is meant to happen in life will happen?
Being anyone is the desire to be the very best. It is the desire to be God.
And if a person, having watched part or all of the video, asks themselves: “Then what am I supposed to do if I can’t be anyone, can’t be God?” — that is a big problem. It is the problem itself, in life, in how life is perceived. You simply need to tell yourself: “I have a real problem. I want to be God. I want to have everything, be everything and be everywhere.”
At this point a person usually says: “No, not everything — I only want these particular circumstances.” But that is exactly what life consists of — understanding that there are events in your life you can want as much as you like, and they will not happen. There are even events that are supposed to happen and may not happen — that is very important to understand. And there are events that are impossible and will not be.
Someone would add: “Impossible events can happen too.” Fine, keep that for yourself.
If you are calm about the fact that even necessary events may not happen, it becomes much easier for you.
Of course, this is a matter of training your thinking and attention; it is work and a big task.
Shift your focus to other people
And to relate to things this way, you need to shift your focus to other people, shift the focus of your desire — understand what another person wants. Because a person is always thinking about what they themselves want, about becoming anyone they like, and about what to get.
So start thinking about what the people close to you want. Not who they want to become, but what they want in general right now, what is happening with them, what state they are in. And send them love.
And why do you send love to another person? So that they become anyone? I talk a great deal about the need to send love to other people. But you don’t send it so that a person becomes anyone, and not only for your own sake — not because you were given the right assignment here.
You send love because that is the true way to relate to other people. Whether it makes the other person better or worse off doesn’t matter at all.
That is not part of this question at all; it is pointless to discuss or consider. And then, of course, that whole line of thinking falls away.
The natural question “who am I?”
But all their life a person will be accompanied by the question: who are they, where are they, what are they doing, what have they done in their life. That is natural and normal — a normal, natural analysis. You just shouldn’t let this analysis slide into a parasitic relation to life.
It is an endless question of humanity — I mean within the present reality of human beings. At some moments in time this question did not interest people, and a time will come when it will not interest them either. “Endless” refers to the current, very broad period: centuries forward and back. At least for everyone watching this video now or who will watch it in fifty or seventy years, it is a real, open question for conscious observation. It was, is and will be. It is natural and vitally necessary — a question of studying and understanding your own life: who am I?
It is just that sick seals and sick offshoots have been placed on this question, feeding on your system, on you yourselves, on your state. You are led astray and told: “Since you have to get to know yourself, let’s throw in the perception that you can become anyone, that you can gain power.” Because dark forces are built on the construct of gaining power — their own power, and, what is very important, always the power of a single element.
Large, serious systems are interested in groups of people or groups of energy, but again — in single groups. You can always come down to some single unit. You are only a part of that group, and sometimes you don’t even get into it — you are just some element, a little screw or bolt.
When a direction of attention is brought to you that is unworthy of a healthy person, harmful to you and to other people, you have to gather your whole system, your whole inner core, in order to struggle against it, to see it and to know that it is not true. By “struggle” I of course mean real, true spiritual struggle — in no way aggression or egoistic resistance. Because the ego-computer and ego-systems have penetrated everywhere they possibly can and can’t.
Observe your thoughts. Not from the position of “bad — good,” but from the position of a card index of this serious perception. Observe it.
