A person is constantly looking for what they need to do right now. They're looking for their next step. That's what I call it: the next step. Today, I want to tell you how to find your next step, what to pay attention to in order to find your next step. Your next step at work, your next step in business, your next step in your personal life, your next step in relationships at home, your next step in every area of life there is. An important part of the next step is that you need to approach it with a great deal of awareness. Approaching it consciously means not being in a state where it's already too late to take the next step, or too early to take it. There's no such thing. At every moment in life, right now, there's a next step that needs to be taken. There's an enormous number of these next steps. Today's social world keeps trying to single out one particular area for a person. It's the common story everyone tells. Choose one area of business and work on it now. Work only on marketing, only on lead conversion. No, focus on your personal relationships and do one particular thing with your wife. No, focus on health now and work on your body.
That's impossible. It's like saying in life, “I'm not going to take care of or monitor anything in my body. I don't care how any of my organs function except my liver.” That's a mistake. Approaching your next step with the understanding that there are dozens, hundreds, thousands of next steps to take right now, and approaching this very calmly, without strain, gives very good results. When we say it's already too late to take the next step, we're limiting an enormous number of opportunities in front of us. At the same time, we're somehow assuming that we're someone who can easily tell whether it's too late or too early for the next step. It's important to allow yourself to consider this and say, “Right now, at this particular moment, I'm not allowing myself to observe my own choices consciously at all.” On the one hand, a person endlessly strives to be free and have a choice. On the other, their day passes and they don't notice exactly which decisions they've made during it. And most importantly, when making a decision, a person doesn't fully see the cause-and-effect relationship. They see the cause very narrowly.
They say, “I'm in the United States of America because I bought a ticket here and flew in.” No, you're in the United States of America because you're forty years old and your life has brought you here. Your whole life, the enormous number of actions you've taken, brought you here. Or you look and say, “My business made a profit ten years ago, and now it doesn't. It doesn't make a profit because I'm doing marketing badly.” No, you were doing marketing badly then too. Your business grew because the whole market was growing and you were selling the right product. Now you're doing marketing just as badly as before. The market simply isn't growing. Or you were doing marketing well then, and everything grew because you were doing marketing well and the market was growing. Now you're doing marketing well, and no matter how well you do it, your company won't grow; nothing will happen. It's very important to see the correct cause-and-effect relationship when you look at your next step. And it's very important to allow yourself to recognize that it isn't too late for the next step, isn't too early for it, and there isn't just one next step.
That you don't need to concentrate on one area of life in order to find your next step. That's a limitation. You're limiting your life, not expanding your perception. On my channel, I talk a great deal about real scaling in human development. Real scaling in human development isn't about the things someone achieves, their accomplishments. Real scaling in human development is developing their ability to perceive more of the world, to perceive tens of thousands of times more over the course of a day. I'm not measuring quantity here; I'm talking about a person's state in terms of perceiving the day as it unfolds, the hour as it unfolds. Perception of life: that's what real scaling in development is. And real scaling in development always includes a state of conscious understanding of your next step, knowing your next step. Here's where a person always comes to the question: how do I understand my next step? Then, when they see their next step: how do I know this next step is real? When they understand that it is real: how can I now see the next step in different areas? And when they see the next step in different areas: how can I make this happen automatically, when I don't even notice that I'm keeping track of it?
When it becomes a habit, when it becomes part of your life, when you identify your next step as automatically as you walk. When you identify your next step as automatically as you breathe. And when you compare yourself with another person—why do they have the ability to see these next steps, while you don't? All right, perhaps. I wasn't counting on that. Then you don't know what you're comparing. Allow yourself to consider that you don't know what it's like to live in a constant state of balanced decision-making. Observe this. The point isn't to take it on faith or say, “Now I understand.” The point is to equip yourself with this now, to start noticing it. Even in watching this video right now, the point isn't to learn how to take the next step. The point is to begin doing one simple thing, something that leads to incredible inner freedom and, most importantly, to making the right decisions in your life. Allow yourself to consider that every day you make hundreds of decisions that are wrong, unconscious, not the right ones. Don't measure yourself against me as a person now, comparing: maybe he's right, or maybe he's wrong.
Simply allow yourself that possibility. My goal isn't to be some other person. My goal is for you to hear that the only way to begin seeing your next step constantly is to consciously observe every decision you make in life. Absolutely all of them, a hundred percent. And that's a different freedom and different possibilities in life. Different possibilities in business, different possibilities for professional development, different possibilities in your inner state. Most importantly, there is no tool for reaching a state of finding the next step. Because the impulse to find the real next step doesn't lie in how many books you've read, what education you've received, or which mentor or guide you have. The impulse to be in the state of the next step lies in how much inner freedom you have during every minute of this time.
How ready are you to feel every minute, every moment, every second of this time? To feel beyond time. How much do you understand the causes of joy, suffering, grief, loss, love, freedom, acceptance, creativity, madness? How much of all this do you see within yourself and in the space around you? I recommend... There are three videos on my channel called “The Next Step.” By the time this video is released, there may be more. In “The Next Step” videos, I meet with a particular person, another person, and examine their situation. Usually, it concerns their business, but in fact, I'm examining the person themselves. And importantly, I find that person's next step through the point of their own freedom. Because when you're in a pure state, you're able to see movement, the right actions for another person. Please don't think I'm urging you to find other people's next steps. That's an illusion and a myth. If that desire has suddenly arisen in you now, it's ego arising during this video, exactly like the ego that arises in agreeing or disagreeing with the person speaking in the video. Observe all of this. Freedom is when you don't have these grievances. Freedom is when you aren't comparing yourself with that person.
Because the more you compare yourself with other people when you listen to them or interact with them, the more disorder you have within yourself, within your own personality. You struggle with this chaos of your own states and personalities. You can see your next step when you feel silence with other people. But you can feel that silence with other people when you yourself are in a state of silence and freedom. You're on Alexander Volchek's channel. Here I talk about life, business, spirituality. In fact, I talk about every area of a person's movement forward. What leads a person to real scaling and development. I show real cause-and-effect relationships, not illusory ones. Seeing real causes is an incredibly deep quality, a deep and substantial capacity. If you've watched this far, I'd ask you to leave any comment under this video. It helps the algorithms and the video's promotion a great deal. Like, share, subscribe. See you next time!
