Because this is a time of great opportunities for a person, a time to lay the groundwork for different energies. When an enormous number of people are going through this transition, when the whole world is going through it. It is simply life. There is no holiday there, no champagne, no fireworks, no festive meal. Hello, everyone! My name is Alexander Volchek, and you are on my channel about human growth and development. Today we will talk about a very important time: the energy of the New Year. We are now in this transitional period of December and January, and the New Year certainly matters. What is this energy? What should we do with it? How should we act? And which ways of being and acting as we live through this period, these weeks, are the most authentic and right—the ones that move your life forward, help you develop and grow? We will discuss all of that in this video. Be sure to watch to the end to learn about the states that truly change a person's life. The first thing I would look at is not the idea of New Year as something uniform or always the same: it happens every year, and every year you have to repeat certain actions. First of all, I want to draw your attention to something, emphasize it, and have you observe it closely for yourself.

Every year is absolutely unique. The end of 2024, the beginning of 2025, and 2025 itself are something completely different, something new that will never happen again. That is very important. On one hand, we know that time changes and new events will happen. On the other, a person lives and celebrates New Year as though it were a constant. They say, "Here it is again, New Year again, and New Year again, and New Year again." Yet in reality, people are constantly asking themselves questions, thinking and looking for meaning: how can I live the time ahead in a new way, differently? It is especially important for older people to know that every New Year is different. When you are fifteen, that awareness is still there in how you perceive things; at twenty, it is there too. But the older you get, the harder it becomes to perceive this. When someone is fifty—we discussed this very recently in my V100 group—when you are over fifty, for example, you have a sense of complete loss. It seems to you that the New Year will no longer bring development, expansion, growth, new events, or change.

You are caught in a kind of illusion. Look at how many older people, grandmothers or aging parents, are simply living out their remaining years, living and passing the rest of their lives, rather than feeling that every year brings vivid colors and new events. There is another very important point when we say that time changes and every New Year is different. We now live at a time when events move at an incredible speed. What used to happen over an entire year can now happen and be experienced in a week or a month. Very quickly. Time moves incredibly fast; it is intensely full. If you do not live through this time with awareness, with steadiness and confidence, with an understanding of what is happening and of the real connections between cause and effect, it will be very difficult for you, incredibly difficult. A great many events without that awareness lead to enormous disappointment, to losing that sense of having solid ground under your feet. It becomes a very heavy burden. First, you do not understand what is happening because your point of control disappears completely, completely. You end up experiencing all these events as a constant threat to your life, instead of something bright, colorful, and full.

And this turns into endless apathy, constant anxiety, constant sadness, a constant lack of freedom, without that sense of steadiness, vitality, and brightness. This is a very important point. Once again, the first part we discussed was that every year is absolutely unique. You need to remember this and keep observing it, whatever you are doing: reviewing the year that is ending or making new plans. Whether you are celebrating a holiday or living through it neutrally, you need to know that time is constantly changing through new events. It is always different. On the other hand, there is a very important aspect to the question of the New Year's energy itself, its particular qualities, and how to act and live with it. There is a constant energy of the New Year in the very fact that time is changing. We know it as a very powerful reference point. It is different, unlike the change of an hour or a minute, or even a day. It is different. This time is different; the experience is different. It is also very important to see and observe this for yourself, because it is a time of great opportunities for a person, of laying the groundwork for different energies and experiencing new meanings.

It is a time of change. It is a time of transition, when an enormous number of people are going through this transition, when the whole world is going through it. It is not a question of one minute or one day. It is about this period that is happening now. People often say, "That's it, December. It is very important to push hard now and get the important things done," forgetting how bright and colorful the preceding eleven months were, or forgetting that this is simply another month. They act on the impulse that comes with a change of period. During this transition, the most important thing to do, the most important thing to feel for yourself, is first to observe that this transition exists, that this energy exists, and once again to remain as fully aware as possible. What is awareness? Real awareness, real observation, is a state in which you are constantly noting everything that happens in your life. It is not a one-time event or action. You do not just note what happened during the year once. You approach it a little more broadly, examine it a little more broadly. You examine all the actions happening every five or ten minutes. It does not matter. It does not matter what you are doing: planting flowers, recording a video, talking to your mother or father.

You go to work for the day, talk to your colleagues, hire someone or let someone go, start a new business—it does not matter. You remain as fully aware as possible, with a neutral attitude toward every event. Being in this energy, in this New Year transition, allows us to begin relating neutrally to what is important and what is not. To treat them equally. To remove the very importance of these events, the very importance of this perception. When you look at this time of transition and change, it is important to understand that, on one hand, a great many new events are happening, while on the other, there is a certain constant, a certain constant in your life and in your perception. On one hand, you can review the year. Incidentally, I explained how to do that properly in the previous video. It is a whole separate, substantial subject; watch it after this one. It will help you develop enormously as a person. This is real personal growth. On one hand, you review the year and do it properly, authentically, truthfully. On the other, you understand that life is constant. When life is constant in this sense, you observe that this transition through December and January is simply life. There is no holiday there, no champagne, no fireworks, no festive meal, no New Year's tree.

The tree is simply a decoration that happens to be there. There is no New Year, no holiday. It does not exist as an occasion of heightened celebration, joy, and happiness. People want to find joy and happiness in it because they have forgotten that joy and happiness are in every day of their lives. They have forgotten this and cannot remain in that state. This is a very interesting observation. Not everyone will be able to do it. Not every person—not everyone will be able to arrive at this state. It means reaching a state in which you live each day in December and January without thinking of it as New Year. It is as though New Year is not there, as though it has dissolved. If you feel an impulse toward this, it can, of course, bring very powerful, substantial growth, very substantial growth. If you can experience these different states in parallel, at the same time, it will give you a hundredfold boost in growth, perception, and development. I strongly recommend watching that previous video about reviewing the year. At the same time, try to be in the state of the New Year and hold on to these two strong pillars. That is what—

Strong pillars, yes. That is what will lead you to a powerful state of awareness. Please share in the comments what New Year means to you. Is it a holiday, a time of change, a state of new events? Or is it simply another day or another time for you, with no concept of New Year, because every day is life? Write about it; it is very interesting. You are on Alexander Volchek's channel, where I talk about personal development, about a person's real, authentic growth. See you next time!
