Breakthroughs in AI happen every week, and the pace is only growing. This technology does not have fifteen years to be adopted, the way Excel or CRM did: what took a very smart person in Codex a year ago is now trivial.
So you cannot judge AI's capabilities from experience that is six months old, and you cannot plan adoption over years: while you are building, a system may come out that does it better.
