First, generative AI gives a ready answer—search and websites are secondary, and the browser as a way to live on the internet is going away. Aggregators like Booking stop making sense, because from the start they worked not in the buyer's interest, and AI systems “eat up like a vacuum cleaner” the usual apps and professional software, from Excel to CRM.
It all comes down to one thing: ChatGPT and Codex are becoming the new operating system—a single window for work and life. So move your tasks into a dialogue with AI instead of holding on to old software and websites out of habit.
Happening now. It is coming true in parts: I said the era of browsers was over, and in No. 140 (July 2026) OpenAI is shutting down its Atlas browser. I myself already hardly ever go to websites or to aggregators like Booking and OpenTable (No. 166, September 2026).

Check how AI models see your website and your data: the customer more and more often asks ChatGPT about you rather than search.
This does not mean everything will vanish tomorrow: some things are hard to replace, Zoom for example, and complex CRM and ERP systems will not go away at once.
